Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

Q: How do I start tracking my cycle?

A: Simply open the app and tap "Log Today" to record your first period day. The app will automatically calculate your cycle and predict future periods.

Q: Do I need to log every day?

A: No, but logging regularly (especially period days) helps the app make more accurate predictions. You can log as much or as little as you want.

Q: How accurate are the predictions?

A: Predictions become more accurate as you log more cycles. After 3-4 cycles, the app typically achieves 85-95% accuracy.

Data & Privacy

Q: Where is my data stored?

A: All your data is stored locally on your device. We never send your health data to our servers or share it with third parties.

Q: Can I export my data?

A: Yes! Go to Settings > Export Data to export your data as CSV, PDF, or text format.

Q: What happens if I delete the app?

A: All data stored locally will be deleted. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a backup.

Features

Q: How do I connect to Apple Health?

A: Go to the Health Connect screen in the app and tap "Connect." You'll be prompted to grant permissions for the data types you want to sync.

Q: Can I customize my cycle settings?

A: Yes! Go to Settings > Cycle Settings to adjust your average cycle length, period length, and other preferences.

Q: How do notifications work?

A: Go to Settings > Smart Notifications to customize when you receive reminders for periods, ovulation, daily logs, and more.

Troubleshooting

Q: My predictions seem inaccurate

A: Make sure you've logged at least 2-3 complete cycles. Go to Settings > Cycle Settings to verify your average cycle length is correct.

Q: Notifications aren't working

A: Check your device's notification settings for trackcycle. Make sure notifications are enabled in both the app and your device settings.

Q: The app crashed or isn't loading

A: Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, try restarting your device. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app.
